Issue 3 takes World Couple's fearless duo somewhere new: the most unsettling corners of the world. It opens outside England's infamous Ancient Ram Inn on a stormy night — she holds a torch steady while he watches something ghostly drift past a window. Inside, a portrait winks, a spirit cat glides across the floor, and his Spirit Radar app hits HIGH ACTIVITY as a turbaned apparition materialises in a mirror behind them. Next stop: the Island of the Dolls in Xochimilco, Mexico, where hundreds of rotting dolls hang from every tree. She's filming a selfie; he's pointing at one: "I'm 100% sure that one just moved." The issue closes deep inside the Catacombes de Paris — headlamps on, map spread open, six million skulls stacked around them, and one of those skulls casually balanced on his head as a hat. Issue 3 is the dark, eerie, brilliantly deadpan chapter that proves World Couple will go absolutely anywhere.
