Bangla Couple – Issue 8: The Picnic Predicament

Anika wanted flowers and fresh air. Zayan warned it was too peaceful. The geese proved him right.

Anika and Zayan head out for what promises to be the perfect pastoral picnic — flower-filled meadow, matching straw hats, sourdough bread, a floral apron, and not a monkey or a rat in sight. Zayan, battle-hardened from previous adventures, sets up his portable stove with the grim composure of a man who knows peace never lasts. Then Anika spots a cute little goose. "He probably wants to join our aesthetic blog post." He did not. Within seconds a full honking battalion descends — one goose snatches the sourdough ("That cost more than my haircut!"), another delivers a beak like a stapler, and the whole meadow becomes a blur of feathers, screaming, and scattered grapes. The couple sprint away empty-handed, hats flying: "Next time, we're having a picnic in a bank vault. At least the security guards don't honk!" The End... (For Now.
